The miracle of breathing again ...

The miracle of breathing again ...

A 90-year-old man was discharged from the hospital after recovering from the coronavirus.

When he received the news that he could go home, he was very happy, but after a few minutes he was told that before leaving he had to pay a bill of two thousand euros, for having used the ventilator for a few days.
The man, upon hearing this, began to cry. The doctor became very worried and asked him: "Why were you crying?" I asked him if he was crying because he didn't have the money to pay that bill, then they could see if there was some way to help him.
The man replied, "I'm not crying about money, because I have enough to pay the bill. I'm crying because in 90 years, I've never thanked the Creator for allowing me to breathe naturally every day and every moment."

The great Sage Bar Kapara said that the passage that summarizes the essence of the entire Torah is in the following verse: "In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:6)

And you, do you recognize and thank the Creator for every breath and for everything He allows you at every moment?

Don't wait until it's too late, be thankful!
