Parasha "BO" (Shemot - Exodus)
"It is not possible to achieve the ideal without suffering."
Parasha "Bo" (Shemot-Exodus 10:1 - 13:16)
In this Parasha we can learn that it is possible to escape from any exile!
Our Patriarchs had to endure great suffering and hardship before entering the Land of Israel...
The hardest thing they endured was the mockery, ridicule, and slander of "the cynics who tried to discourage them" and turn them away from their ideal! (Likutey Moharan 1:72)
We should never be discouraged, but rather we should motivate ourselves to overcome these obstacles, and be very wary of those "cynics" who try to discourage us with all kinds of mockery and slander.
Stand firm and continue with the confidence that Moses had:
When the people of Israel had left Egypt they realized that Pharaoh and his entire army had caught up with them to capture them and return them to slavery, or worse perhaps to annihilate them, it is written in the Torah:
"The children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians were moving after them; and the children of Israel were greatly afraid, and cried out to the Lord" (Shemot - Exodus 14:10)
But Moses said to the people:
"Do not be afraid! Stand tall and witness the salvation of the Eternal, see what he will do for us today." "The Eternal will rule the battle for you, but you shall remain silent." (Shemot-Exodus 14:13-14)
The Eternal took charge of saving the children of Israel and sinking the Pharaoh and his entire army!
If you want to "get out of that exodus" and reach the "Promised Land," your ideal, then keep your Emunah focused on the Almighty, because He, the Only One, can get you out of any problem and will even take care of destroying all your enemies.
If your Faith "Emunah" is in the One G-d, then just do your part, keep silent and trust that very soon you will see His salvation!
