Parasha BeShalaj "Shabbat Shira"

Parasha BeShalaj "Shabbat Shira"

The present Shabbat is known as "Shabbat Shira" (The Shabbat of singing) since we read the Parasha Beshalach from the book of Shemot (Exodus 13.17 - 17.16) where great and wonderful events are related to us, such as the partition of the sea, the fall of Mana from the sky, among others.

"The Mán (Mana) and the Teshuvá"

When the Mán (Mana) fell from the sky, several miracles occurred, such as wrote the great sages (Mejilta Beshalaj 16):
“For the righteous, Mán fell on the doors of their houses and even directly on their mouths, on the other hand, for those who were not good people, they should go out and look for it by the
field ”
The Talmud (Ioma 75 :) says that the Mán publicly revealed what the real state of the spirit of each one of the children of Israel.
In addition the Midrash mentions that one of the miracles of the Man was that it had the flavor that each one pretended to feel; He also says that the fairer the one who ate it, the tastier it was to his palate. It means then that surely there were people dissatisfied with the Mán, the same Mán put in evidence which were the sins of him.
This draws attention because the reproach to sinners was by publicly exposing "who they really were," thus letting it be known that those who were wormed by Mán were a sign of hypocrisy, Mán himself served to unmask those people who They weren't really what they were showing, but in their internal forum they were really undesirable. To better explain it we must first understand that normally when a person serves the Creator he feels and believes that he is at the highest level but the reality is not always that! Only HaShem is the one who truly knows the thoughts and the interior of our heart, He really knows how we are, and it is very difficult for one to judge oneself or even their close ones (loved ones) when one is part of or has interests or influences their perspective of things will never be impartial.
For that same reason it is neither useful nor appropriate to try to reproach someone who appears to be doing the right thing, that person can hardly accept what is being said, our Sages
(Abot 4, 4) "Whoever commits a fault or a sin in secret, is publicly punished from heaven" in the same way that Mán acted, and < br> I can say that I have seen that personally.

It means that this was the secret of the Mán, it entered to the viscera and checked the heart from the very inside, only those who accepted the yoke of the Torah they had the merit of receiving it, and according to the spiritual level reached, it was the pl About what caused them to eat it, coinciding with what our sages taught us "Seventy facets has the Torah." And precisely for this reason the only one who could know exactly who was on the right path and who was not, was the Mán !, and for that reason it was that those who were on the wrong path complained saying (Bamidbar 11, 6) :
"And now our souls have dried up, we have nothing but Man" by saying this they manifested that they did not want to get out of their wrong situation, they did not want that food anymore celestial who marked his mistakes.
We must know that the bad instinct never attacks head-on, it always does it cunningly and in a deceptive way, instead of facing us, it stands on our side and makes us feel that we are doing the right thing by complying with the Mitzvot (precepts) and respecting the Torah, thereby polluting us by making us proud and deserving of honor. But our duty is to be attentive to it and not let bad instinct take control of our feelings since that is the beginning of the great sunset, he begins by making us feel that he is on our side and gradually takes us to his position, impurifying our mind and our heart, giving us the feeling that we are well, since that is our external image, but inside it has us absolutely dominated, as it says in the T almud (Shabbat 105) "This is the office of evil instinct, today he tells him do this, tomorrow that, until he tells him go and serve the
idols ”
Who knows how to take care of themselves he keeps attentive and is aware that he still needs to do many things to reach the level of our ancestors, in this way he will always live on the rise.
In that generation there was Moshe who had the ability to know and interpret everyone, even what that they carried hidden within their hearts, but given their humility and the great affection and love he felt for his people, did not put them in evidence, for that reason
HaShem gave Man that difficult task, to help those who externally seemed but still internally had many things to repair.
As a result many of those who felt perfect and thus showed themselves in front of society, when the Man put them in evidence that they were still prisoners of their bad instincts, they reacted wrongly, accusing the "Celestial Bread" of being unjust or unjust. Wrong, protesting and despising food! On the other hand, those who were really just accepted the reproach with joy, they knew well that this indicator was the best way to arrive at absolute correction. I have already commented in another moment that this guide can be found today in ethics and conduct books. Happy of them that they had the Mán, what remains for us then is to turn to the great books of ethics, Hasidism, to the stories of Tzadikim and their biographies, in this way we can realize where we are going, and what is the course and correct path to take.

Dedicated for the healing of all the sick of Am Israel and the whole world.
May we soon and in our days see the Great Redemption!
